I made this post over on my Tumblr too, but since no one there is going to respond, I thought I'd let you guys have a crack at it, too.

So I have been going through all of my things from school (I’ll probably be opening up an eBay shop over the summer, but that’s another post) and I found a bunch of different postcards from school that I haven’t sent out to friends or family. 

If you’d like, I will send you a postcard with a little art request on it (for obvious reasons, it has to be SFW!) I’ll pay for the stamps and everything, you just have to give me your address, through Notes, or email if you so wish (send me your email in a note and I will respond). I’ll delete your info after I’ve sent your card. I have four different card designs, and several cards, so if you’d like to get more than one in the mail, just ask when you send me your request, and I will send you a postcard with a lovely photograph of MSU’s campus.

Looking for some inspiration before I head back to school for classes, so I'm looking for anyone who wants to do an art trade. Doesn't have to be anything big, it can just be a sketchy thing. 

Really looking for Pokemon here but I'm willing to branch out.

How long has it been since I've actually been active on here??? Far too long, methinks. Sorry about that, I guess.

I haven't really been working on much art lately. I haven't been in the mood, and all the things I have been drawing are mostly Pokemon-oriented, which no one on here really responds well to from me. Most of my artsy time is spent working on my prompt books right now. I really hate to say it, but I don't know if I'll be too active here anymore.

Although that doesn't mean I'll just up and leave all the friends I've made here. I do miss you guys, honestly, you know who you are. If you're interested (if you actually still remember who I am), send me a note and we can stay in touch in other ways. I do emails, Facebook, hey, I'm even on Tumblr now, so if you want to chat me up there, I never say no.

So, yeah, sorry for just disappearing there. School got busy and things have been crazy the past few months. Just trying to keep my life in order, I guess.

OKAY. WOW. It's been forever since I've really been actively updating, and there's a few important things I want to hit in this update, so I'll get to it!

First of all, if you've joined my squad of watchers since I posted here last, I would like to say thank you and welcome! I know I'm not very active right now, so if you've watched me knowing that, you rock! I really appreciate the views and support.

Secondly, there are a few things on my artwork-to-do list that I am bound and contracted to, and for the two of you that I promised art to SO LONG AGO, I apologize that I haven't delivered it to you. I hate to say it, but I have to return both of your selections because they're both TF-related. It's nothing wrong on your part, I promise, it's just that since I'm keeping my Almanac and whatnot at home, I haven't been very motivated to do much TF art lately. You've probably noticed from the lack of said material in my submissions as of late. I'm really sorry about flaking on those requests, but since I'm returning them to you, you have their full value for the future. So for example, if you put in a request for a kiriban of a digital piece of Optimus and Megatron skipping in a field happily, you'd get the idea returned to you, and you can ask me for something else of equal value in the future. I'm not sure if I'll be returning to TF art anytime in the near future, so if there's another fandom you want done, I am at your service for those. Again, I feel awful about flaking on those, but at least one of them is something I know I won't be able to do anytime soon and be satisfied with it, and the last thing I want to do is submit something that I'm not satisfied with after keeping you waiting all this time.

Pokemon requests are coming! I've worked out a system that's easier for both me and the environment. Any Pokemon requests, be they human or not, will be capture cards. They're half of a 5x8'' index card (translates roughly to 1/4 of a regular sheet of computer paper), and before you go off on me being "oh that's way too small!", I can assure you I can fit a ton of detail into that little space than a bigger one. The ironic thing is that since I first started submitting art here, my average canvas size has gotten way smaller. My first pieces were full 8.5x11'' sheets, then I scaled down to half of that. Currently, I'm using either my 9x6'' sketchbook for art or the index cards, and it works better for me. Less waste if I don't like it, and less white space generally as a whole. So yeah! If you requested a Pokemon (and even if you didn't...), that's how the format will be. If you want a sample, I have several smaller scenes that are already done and I can put on here. And if you still want a humanized Pokemon character, you can put your request on this journal or send me a note with what you want. If you're unsure, you can check my last journal for more information.

Finally, I'm doing pretty well here. I'm taking a full summer semester of classes here, and one of them is on campus for the first half of the summer, so we're here in the dorms still. But we have AC, thank the dorm gods, so don't worry too much about us. Oh, and if you're wondering, Terrakion is still here with me. Cobalion is also joining us for the first few weeks of the semester, so I have both my Swords here to cuddle with! Since I last posted, I finished sophomore year and I also got a promotion at work, so I get a little pay raise and I get to wear a chef coat!! I didn't try out for just the coat, I promise!! Also, I will be going to the Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions concert in February, and I'm putting together an outfit for it currently. Once I go home this weekend, you'll probably get the first updates on it. There are a few of you that have already seen it on Facebook, but it should be new to most of you.
